China 2008, organized by the Shanghai Electrical Cable Research
Institute and Messe Dusseldorf China Ltd, and Tube China 2008,
organized by the Metallurgical Council of the China Council
for the Promotion of International Trade and Messe Dusseldorf
China Ltd, are ranked first in Asia in the industry and have
become the second largest in the world. It is deemed the best
platform for industry players to develop businesses in China,
and even Asia. The show will feature 1,098 exhibitors occupying
57,500 square meters of exhibition space and is expected to
attract more than 35,000 trade visitors from worldwide. The
number of online pre-registration visitors has hit over 7,500
by September 22nd, twice more than that in the same period in
2006.
The
fair has gained great support from worldwide exhibitors and
trade visitors. Additionally, the exhibition area (five halls)
is nearly double the size of the previous show. For the event,
two special highlighted showcases – “chemical“ and “spring and
fastener” -- will be customized for targeted industry players.
There will be around 100 exhibitors in the chemical highlighted
showcases, almost three times more than that in wire and Tube
China 2006. Meanwhile, colorful concurrent activities will also
be held, such as a spring fastener forum, the 2008 China Wire
& Cable Industry Conference and other seminars.
The high number of
international exhibitors is always a highlight of wire and Tube
China. Pavilions from Austria, the United Kingdom, France, Germany,
Italy, South Korea, Spain and the United States are sure to
catch the attention of visitors with their grand scale. More
than 353 foreign companies will exhibit their products for the
benefit of an equally huge number of visitors. Overseas visitors
from Japan, South Korea, Malaysia, India, Thailand, Iran and
Vietnam, will attend in the form of visiting delegations. Meanwhile,
there will be 13 domestic visit delegations at this fair.
Despite
the negative influences of the global economy, the Chinese economy
has maintained stable growth, as has China's wire and Tube industry.
China's wire products occupy the No. 1 position for global market
share with 20 percent and China's wire industry has experienced
an annual growth rate of 10 percent in recent years. Meanwhile,
China is the largest global user and producer of steel tubing
with a yearly growth rate of 10 percent. With the vast amount
of infrastructure construction, development of manufacturing
and world-class events like World Expo 2010 Shanghai, China's
wire and Tube industry will embrace an era of opportunities
in the "11th Five-Year Plan" while they will also
encounter new challenges through the accelerating urbanization
process and new context of resource saving, energy efficiency
and emission reduction.
wire and Tube China
2008, establishing a perfect platform for exhibitors and visitors,
will surely realize an excellent growth for the wire and tube
industry.
