NEW! Active interest in NEFTEGAZ 2017

700 exhibitors are expected at the 17th international specialist trade fair for the gas and oil industry

Russia's significant crude oil and natural gas reserves are a major contributor in meeting global energy demands, and the global importance of the Russian energy industry also plays a huge role in the international supplier industry. Even the recent economic issues and the tough political conditions of late have changed nothing in this industry. Great conditions for wide-ranging economic and technological engagement with international firms are also predicted for the future.

These positive long term prospects are reflected in the active demand for exhibition space at NEFTEGAZ 2017, the international trade exhibition for the oil and gas industry, which will take place from 17 to 20 April in Moscow's EXPOCENTRE, a trade fair centre in Krasnaya Presnya. Shortly before the deadline, a huge amount of interest was shown in this leading industry event, which is once again being organized in conjunction with the National Oil and Gas Forum. The connection between the trade fair and conference ensures that an entire range of people and businesses are represented, from Russian industry and trade specialists from all the main national energy groups to international sector experts. They come together here to gather comprehensive information on the latest market developments and to create and reinforce business contacts. The trade fair and conference are taking place simultaneously, yet another reason for which NEFTEGAZ has become an annual event.

It is the only trade show in the industry to be granted the patronage of the Ministry of Energy of the Russian Federation, which stated that it wanted an annual industry platform. With NEFTEGAZ and the National Oil and Gas Forum, the Ministry has flipped the switch for the country's future energy policy, reinforced cooperation between industry and politics and has valorized the energy economy, which is of vital importance to Russia. The organisers of NEFTEGAZ, who are Messe Düsseldorf, Messe Düsseldorf Moskau OOO and ZAO EXPOCENTR are delighted to receive this valuable endorsement.

In total, around 700 exhibitors from around 30 nations are expected to attend NEFTEGAZ 2017. Machinery, equipment and systems, as well as the latest technology for extraction of oil and gas reserves and modern systems for monitoring the environment are the main sectors that the trade fair will focus on. Along with the hosting country, Russia, Germany is one of the strongest exhibiting countries and will be represented via a joint stand and a multitude of individual business presentations.  The joint venture will be organised in cooperation with the VDMA (German Mechanical Engineering Industry Association, a registered association).

Other countries well-represented among the exhibitors include Italy, France, the USA and China. This international scope and the mix of exhibitors guarantees that our offer is all encompassing as our service providers range from large corporations to small specialist companies. For NEFTEGAZ exhibitors, this trade fair is the perfect platform to present innovative technology to a professional specialist audience.

Miroslav Kafedzhiev, President of Honeywell Russia, emphasised this: “In order to be able to face the challenges of both the past and the future, it is essential that we familiarise ourselves with the industry's innovative solutions. In the Russian oil and gas sector, we must invest in modernising our systems in order to boost profitability and minimise operational risks. At NEFTEGAZ 2017, Honeywell will present innovations that will allow companies in the oil and gas industry to boost their performance, ensure efficient energy management and improve operational safety".

Alexey Prokopyev, Acting Development Director for OOO Centrax Gas Turbines Rus, also highlighted that specialists from his company would be using NEFTEGAZ to present and explain their latest products to the visitors. “We consider our participation in the trade fair to be a great opportunity to share best practice solutions and innovative ideas with our clients. Centrax invests huge sums of money in building up its service networks around the globe.  We offer our clients the highest level of support at every stage of development and extraction”.

An extensive supporting programme with Workshops and expert talks tops off NEFTEGAZ 2017 and the National Oil and Gas Forum.
