This equipment integrates multi-channel 3D sensors and achieves non-contact online measurement of steel pipe surface contours based on the laser triangulation method. It generates real-time 3D point cloud data and automatically detects three-dimensional defects such as pits and bulges through self-developed AI algorithms. Suitable for seamless steel pipe and welded pipe production lines, it effectively prevents batch quality defects. Compatible with both linear and spiral pipe passing modes, it maintains high sensitivity even for shallow flat pits with large width-to-depth ratios. As a valuable complement to existing magnetic flux leakage, ultrasonic and eddy current testing equipment, it ensures zero missed detection of major defects and significantly reduces labor costs. Currently, it has been deployed in batches at numerous leading enterprises including Baosteel, Dalipu, Changbao and Linzhou Fengbao.
